Patient Initiated Follow Up is a mandated for all NHS Trusts in England and exploring options to make this work for patients and users within TrakCare. There are numerous other suppliers that allow patients to be complete a questionnaire when they want to activate an appointment and therefore are looking at adding a questionnaire to the ROPWL where this can be saved and viewed by a clinician to aid triage. Currently the only place we can add a document is on the original OPWL and then this is vetted but there is no functionality that allows a clinician to view further documentation and 'vet' against a ROPWL. The process of vetting the ROPWL is essential as it determines how quickly the patient needs to be seen for the follow up appointment and at present this process if not captured within TrakCare and decisions are not recorded other than on odd paper notes which is less than ideal for many reasons.
