1️⃣ Description of the idea Some products are often discontinued or deprecated, and this is perfectly normal and natural. However, in many cases, we are not prepared for this change, either by the knowledge to implement the new technology or by the workforce, even though we know that changes occur gradually.
2️⃣ Who is the target audience? Managers and infrastructure teams, as well as analysts and developers.
3️⃣ What problem does it solve? Updates that cause changes to existing projects within the company.
4️⃣ How does this impact the efficiency, stability, reliability, etc., of the product? Possibly with a relatively high cost, but this could be diluted through work within the community, with use cases or tools that address the situation. We could minimize the impact of the changes, since not all customers can adapt to the new developments that occur periodically.
5️⃣ Provide a specific use case or scenario that illustrates how this idea could be applied in practice. In a hypothetical situation, let's say it would no longer be possible to use Windows operating systems to run IRIS.My idea would be to provide some support for switching between operating systems, or suggest tools that could support or workaround this situation.Another example, still hypothetical but simpler, would be if we could no longer use a particular SQL command, but it is contained in a lot of code, we would have an AI-driven solution that could replace these commands with functional and current commands.
Thank you for submitting the idea. The status has been changed to "Community Opportunity".
Stay tuned!
