Adding Ctrl+V functionality to iris terminals

  • Essentially this idea boosts the current functionality of pasting into the IRIS terminal. Over the course of the year, this will save developers in total countless hours of having to right click and paste instead of keyboard macros

  • Any users of the iris terminal

  • Other terminals have Ctrl+V functionality, IRIS terminal does not

  • Users will be able to paste more naturally. Additionally, Ctrl+V currently adds a dead-space character which is the root cause of many bugs which have led developers down rabbit holes, losing precious company hours

  • This could be used in practice every single day. Anytime someone is interacting with the IRIS terminal it will come into play. Especially with pasting code commands

    There is a Shift+Ctrl+V combination that bypasses this restriction. It works as usual Ctrl+V and leaves no dead space afterwards.
