Making the Data Steward Portal more customizable

Within Health Share Provider Directory, the Data Steward Portal has limited functionality to be customized.

Search Criteria

For example, the Search Criteria should vary depending on your system. We are moving from an External home-grown Provider Master that has its own ID and identifiers which might include the Individual's Login ID. Most Data Steward users are not going to know the NPI, or EID to search by, and if there is multiple Individuals with the same name, it will be hard to tell who is the one we want.

While there is a way to get the information by creating another Tab to search for the EID or NPI by the specific ID, it is not ideal. If you do search by the Specific ID in the customizable search tab, you still have to go back to the Master Browser to type it in to find the Individual.

Individual Search Results

The use of FDN to define the form in which Individual Results are show is very confusing and hard to follow. The Documentation is lacking on how we can format the Form and make it optimal for pulling in Individuals. The display of information within "cards" is not always idea, and the "cards" like the locations-card are not able to be modified. Users have to click into the card to drill down to get the information they would like to know. For example the locations-card does not display phone, fax, etc... Our users are used to seeing this on the main screen as they go into the Individual record.
