It takes quite a few steps to go to where you need to go in the Management Portal. If the site has UCR installed, then that number skyrockets. I have looked into if there's a way to easily create a more easily navigable set of links in the management portal. Currently, sites end up creating additional menu pages and/or bookmarks in order to try to make things easier for customers. It would be good to either dynamically generate most recently visited pages or have a menu that users can configure and add their shortcuts.
The search bar was a big step, but the search bar will only search in the area you're in. I.e. if you're not clicked-in to an area of UCR and have that context, the search bar will not find those areas. Also the search bar is buried and very small on the right of the screen. It would be easier to find if it spanned the top like in the AWS portal.
Thank you for submitting the idea. The status has been changed to "Future consideration".
Stay tuned!
