Create a platform (IRIS for Health) and app that would support citizens to sell/donate their medical data. This would be a combination of the Provider & Payer data (federal patient access and interoperability rules), device data and other data a citizen may have such as genetic data (23 and me etc). The data would be pseudonymised / anonymised as it leaves the citizens device and users would receive a payment or notification that a payment was made to charity for the data. This could create a very large data set of great commercial and research value to Health Science and research institutions and cuts out the providers and consent issues as the patient themselves elected to do it

InterSystems has a great deal to lose from a reputation standpoint by selling even de-identified data. A non-profit might be able to make a business around this ideas.
