When creating a project in IRIS and adding the classes corresponding to that project, it would be nice to be able to initialize a repository in GIT with the project files and to be able to manage the branches and commit/push the code.
In response to the contest topic, I would say that by having version control and branches per project, you can ensure that your code is organized and easy to maintain, which improves the speed and security of your solutions.
In addition, by using a version control system such as GIT, you can collaborate with other developers more efficiently and reduce the risk of errors, which also allows you to improve the security and development speed of your solutions.
