Everytime that the session of the Management Portal is closed the preferred language selected is lost, forcing to the user to change it the next time that log in. Using cookies would fix this problem, keeping the language selection at any time.

Will consider this suggestion for future UIs. The current SMP is no longer considering enhancement requests.
This DC response has a good suggestion to use a browser extension to set site-specific language preferences: https://community.intersystems.com/post/language-preference-management-portal#comment-273231
I definitely agree, even better, add on option in the user definition where define the default Management Portal language.
I know that the language of the Portal is based on the language configured in Browser, BUT, I want to use English for the IRIS management portal non for all my internet activity!
I feel uncomfortable using the localized version of the portal, the translation is often confusing. Do not forget that while the portal is localized, ALL the documentation is available only in English, making it difficult for users, particularly new users, to match the documentation with the portal translation.

The language of the Portal is based on the language configured in Browser, if you set language preference to make preferred language on top, it will display management portal in this language by default
